Isn't both of them using 970 with 6GB of ram? It also has a higher resolution display at 2340x1080 instead of 2240x1080 albeit LCD instead of AMOLED. And it even has a headphone jack which the P20 Pro lack. It might even be a better option than the P20 Pro if you don't value the camera that much.

You're looking at the wrong model. I'm comparing it to Nova 3. 3i is the "low end" phone.

Nova 3i is at lower cat than Honor 10, same pricing to Honor Play (RMB 1999) which oredi run on Kirin 970 while Nova 3i at Kirin 710 only .. Honor Play more worth

Nova 3i (RMB 1999) is slight higher priced than Xiaomi 8 SE (RMB 1799), Kirin 710 vs SD 710 , Xiaomi 8SE sounds better

Redmi Note 5 at lower cat thus lower pricing ..
