Changed from Mate 20 to P30. 6gb -> 8gb RAM feels better. But downside is the smaller screen.

I assume it retains the IP rating after the replacement? my battery is still good but eh.. its a used phone that i got for 500 so I'm tempted to just replace it for the hell of it, it's only $21 on their website.

It doesn't.

I can no longer put it under water once they open it.

Phone doesn't spoil but it fogs up all the camera lenses for a few days to over a week before clearing up completely.

I used to wash my phone under running water and found out that I can't do it the hard way lol.

The staff at huawei sim lim sq explain to me that the glue integrity is reinforced by humans instead of factory machinery hence it will never be as rigid as before.

It's my 2nd huawei. The first mate 9 lasted me 3 years. Passed it to my kids and it works very well.
