What do you guys mean? traditional SMS? just click and hold till the left icon becomes a tick then can select multiple SMSes for deletion right?

Yes no issues with delete for multiple messages.

However cannot pin message to top

There should be a 6mths screen insurance that you can activate to cover the repair.
