Samsung s10+ is QHD display but able to set to emulate FHD+. In this area, p30 pro already loss out.

To be honest, the difference is minimal from a naked eye perspective. Most phone users are not particular about how dense the pixels are. In fact, I was happy they went with FHD+ instead of QHD simply because this will improve battery life. If I compare the battery review on GSM Arena, it is clear that if you compare Mate 20 Pro (QHD) vs P30 Pro (FHD+) there is a good improvement in battery life, 85 vs 100 hours endurance based on their way of testing.
