Yup, got my EMUI 10 last night.
But not sure what's actually the real difference vs EMUI 9 :)
Dark mode is much better implemented throughout the OS and apps. Other than that, meh. Not a fan of the grey notification shade, preferred it in 9.

Updated to 10, no new AOD stuff here. Apparently that's coming later

No new clock style right? I thought it was inside based on some beta reviews and i couldn't find it. I just saw a post by someone in Huawei Central FB page that he was told it's only for Mate 30 :(

my set from Huawei still no update yet. :(

You got try update via the HiCare? Cos the direct approach you won't get the see the update. Anyway its a BETA and will have lots of bugs. If you use it for serious stuffs suggest to wait out the official update. If not will screw up sensitive apps which has yet to move over to Android 10 platform.

Hi everyone, I've just gotten a p30pro.

It comes with screen protector pasted on already, so is it necessary to get it replaced?

As for phone casing, is there any particular type that can't be used with the screen protector or tgsp?

And is there any initial dos and donts to take note of?

Thanks in advance!!

If you use tempered glass SP, then some casings cannot use. This is a problem when they go with curved screens. I am using UAG which works with the tempered glass (using UV light to stick it on type). Spigen one will push the TPSP out so have to be careful what you go for.

Most importantly, don't drop the phone. Thats the basic no no. Good luck and enjoy your P30 pro.

Thank you!!

My last curved screen phone was the ill fated short lived ss note7 and I used mi max 2 and 3 respectively thereafter.

Believe it or not but P30 Pro wasn't even in my consideration due to it being a curved screen with notch and its a smaller screen as compared to the mi max series. But I realised that it's the most value for money phone to get ( got it for $99 starhub $75 plan) and I went ahead to get it instead.
