What I'm facing on my P30 Pro is that the updating of the app took very long or not updating, so to resolve it, I restart the phone and it will update the apps.

Just wondering which apps you can not update?

I just tested on my three Huawei phones, P20, Nova 5T and Nova 3i, all three can update the apps normally. But my Nova 3i is a backup phone so there are not many apps installed. Still just updated 9 apps in about 5 minutes time.

Huawei Nova 3i is a relatively low end phone and it has only 2.4GHz wifi, so probably you need to check your wifi to see if that is the problem or not. I got the battery replaced free last year and it seems to be still running okay.

Nova 5T is like a lower end P30 with the same Kirin 980 CPU, it seems to still perform very well and used happily by family member.

My main phone is still the P20 and I can feel the aging as occassionally it just restarted by itself. Guess I got too many rubbish in the phone and the battery is really aging.

That being said, it seems to be difficult to choose a next phone. Maybe I have to go to mid-end Oppo/Realme. I do not buy high end Android.

Also.. Any way to disable the finger print access unless you switch on screen by pressing the lock button? Sometime put my phone in my jeans then when wanna use shows disabled for 15 mins. Lol
