Huawei's push notification problems

Hi everyone, anyone experience this problem with huawei phones?
i googled and most of the advice state that it is a battery saving function that caused the problem.

i tried the posted solution but my app notifications (eg. reminders,alarms) are still not working.

Anyone has this problem and managed to fix it?

Try uninstall powergenie thru adb. Google powergenie can easily find the steps.
