Another suggestion is to make public the people who report a post. This way, it prevents people from recklessly reporting posts, allowing Mods and Admin more time to investigate each report.

If a person is so strongly against a post made that it has to be reported, I think it's only fair that his report be made public.

A suggestion to improve the infraction system.

If an infraction is being reversed by Admin, I think it's only fair for the Mod who gave that infraction to be identified and made known to the public.

This way, there is more transparency in the system. Now the system is designed in such a way that it discourage Mods to be careful as there is practically no repercussion if they infract wrongly.

If the infraction is not reversed, then it's understandable if the Mod remain annoynomous.

Put it this way, if a mod makes a mistake and is make public, tons of members who have grudges will bay for this mod's blood. Internal review by other mods/admin works better. Refer to other cases of mods being mob by the members, example all the PAP IB vs Kiwi case.

If you think mods are not reviewed, then why a few mods were asked to step down?

Same issue again, if all user report are public, there would be many members vs members situation. Vicious cycle.
Members who recklessly report post will be warned or even have their report button removed.

will just give my 2 cents to this comments

1) cant hide and say things are being reviewed when the first page is all not responded... theirs only so many times u all can infract asap, ban asap, lock thread asap, delete thread asap... but when come to responding to feedback, say that its a long n time consuming process... not fooling anyone

i wish i can tell my boss the same thing... do nothing but say everything is being done.. the truth is, its like the boy calling wolf... ppl stop believing after awhile


2) When i said the community thinks the feedback forum is a sham, i was referring to EDMW.. not feedback forum.. my original thread was in EDMW ( and again, thread suddenly got locked with no explanation).. so even ppl who never raised feedback think its a sham

1) are you referring to your own thread? As far as I can see, most threads on the first page already have replies from mods to various degrees. And we ain't here to fool/convince anyone if we are replying or not. You can see it yourself. No need to hide.

As for your so called, asap ban/infract, any specific example other than the one that you started a thread in feedback?

Fyi, mods are volunteer and we are allowed to do things at our pace.

Asap warn/infract? Quite sure that only work for clear cut cases.
Do you have specific examples of that not being the case?

Feedback is a long and time-consuming process because it's admin/mods reading other mods' decision on a case which was reviewed by that mod already.
There is no mod specially assigned to review feedback forum issues. Only admin. And there is only 1-2 admin around.

Not to mention, most mods are also handling reports by other members not in the feedback forum. You are expecting kind of a lot from a group of volunteers.

Like I said we have replied promptly to your feedback but you have responded by calling it retarted just because you cannot accept that we have infracted others as well.

You only know how to go awol in your own thread and start another thread to get attention.

We dun target you specifically and we certainly are not going to give any more special attention. You keep making false statements that no one replied to you when now even replied.
