Guys, I've seen brand new export sets sold on carousell? How different are they as compared to the ones retailing in the major electronic stores? Is it just warranty coverage that differs? Thanks!

BUMP for answers. :o

When generating RMA request, they would ask for receipt. If it is purchased from them direct from website, or from a shop in SG, I think it will be ok. If buy from other online places like Amazon, they may give problems. I feel it depends on who is serving, but that is the impression that I get based on what I remember from my experience.

Is Amazon much cheaper than getting from Airport? So far, my recommendation is always to get from airport (-7% off retail) unless Amazon is really really cheap so can take the chance.

Is the GoPro remote worth buying? Thanks!

Sent from Samsung SM-N910G using GAGT

I use gopro to take videos of my futs al games. It is wide enough to capture whole pitch. I use the Gopro remote to control while playing, mostly to mark the highlights. This is very useful for me and cuts down a lot of time when I edit the video down to just the actions we want to highlight.

So, depending on your usage, I think it is useful to have it for what it is meant for: controlling the camera (start, stop, highlight) when you want to leave the camera mounted somewhere and have hands free.

Won't the video be very distorted with its fish eye effect?

Yes the effect is there. But the action still there too. My players, like me, like being able to see yourself playing. Always looking to improve the setup for these weekly games. Have come a long way since using wide lens clip on converter on mobile phone at the end of a flexible clamp.

Check out latest highlight clip, feedback and comments welcome: https://youtu.be/hW5enRJXpjo

Will be getting mine soon this week. Any recommendations in terms of video editing software? I know they have a native software but thinking of PP...

I tried Samsung Pro 64gb Samsung Pro+ Sandisk Extreme Pro and Lexar 633x all no problem. Occasionally I use Sandisk Ultra also ok but worry hang and only use it for casual video taking. By the way, mine is hero 4 black which I presume is the same as silver
