Grab as in switch to use, or buy? I'm interested in buying the Silver and I read that the included package comes with both the skeleton and standard housing as default.

Or are there different editions that comes with different accessories?
sorry, not skeleton backdoor that already included. I meant buy the frame that has opening on the charging port, so that I can charge and shoot time lapse at the same time.

I bought third party one from carousell, which is cheaper 42$ with lens protector.

Guys, Just got the 4 silver and going through the settings now.

I have a noob question : Do you set the Video to NTSC or Pal? I noticed that there is a difference in the 1080p to have 60 & 50fps. Does it matter to have it in NTSC when we are in a PAL region?

Just gotten my Gopro Hero 4 Black today at Funan at $700. ( so wasted didn't but when I was at departure lounge.) The Hero4 Black as compared to the Hero 3+ accessories so much lesser! haha

Anyway loving the quality of the footage :) Still trying out more settings! Gonna go buy nice selfie pods ;) Any to recommend? The 3 ways by GOpro seems the best .

I bought most of my 3rd party accessories here.

DealeXtreme - Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - DX Free Shipping Worldwide

Waiting time is long though but it's still way cheaper than the original Gopro accessories plus comes with free shipping.

Spent less than 100USD for 3 batteries, dual charger, 3 way monopod/tripod which looks exactly as the original one, Polarizer and the Frame Mount Version 2.

Congrats on the strike :).

I got my silver from T3 after reading the posts here. The 7% off definitely works for me. Any local shops to recommend on getting third party accesories other than online?

I like the concept of the GoPro 3-way. Would be perfect for me if it were at least 10" longer :)

bro, try below to upgrade your gopro to the latest firmware.
- format your microSD from PC
- put in gopro and format all, and then take 1 picture
- turn off and take out microSD from gopro and insert in PC again (u will see all the folders created there)
- download the update.zip from gopro website (u need to register the product to get the link)
- copy into the microSD
- put back into gopro and turn on, it will auto update.

another thing is what do you mean pressed record button NOT OK? is it hang or no response?

Hi bro,

Sorry looooong reply! Thot no one bother to reply liao.

I can see LCD screen working OK, but long press shutter/rec button not responsive. So my friend thinks the unit I own is defective.

I will ask my friend to take a look at your suggestion. bro. Thanks :s12:

Anyway my friends Hero 3 + is bricked. When turned on it will simply freeze. Cant so anything... Have to take the batt out to restart. But then once on again, within a minute of less it will freeze up again.

Tried updating the firmware a few times... No help. Same. Wrote to Gopro they tell you same thing. Really frustrated .

That's bad... I guess we have to do RMA. The guy said if updating renders it still unresponsive then might hv to send in for RMA.

Confirmed not responsive. The update is successful only for the firmware itself. The problem lies in the hardware.
