How do I seal up the hole at the radio antenna at the boot area ? The rubber broke due to wear & tear.I am afraid rainwater will get in.

My accent, the rubber around antenna also breaking off.. currently using electrical tape to hold it together.. i thot of using those silicon sealant thingy to seal it....

Hi why not go back to hyundai see can they help you with this problem.

I tried.They don't have the spare parts.Not really keen in helping.

Is your car still under warranty by them ?
If yes, go back again tell them about it.

Ok.I shall try the black electrial tape.Are you still using the car now ? the 1.3M or 1.5M/A.What is the FC for this car ? Quite impressed with this car though.Maybe I was driving a 20 year old car before this. I was initially considering a getz.Then I settled for this 1.3M.

yup, me still driving the 1.3m accent, 5.5 years liao. my fc is about 14+.

Used the black electrical tape.Works well.Solved my problem for now.Zero Cost.

Forget those silicon stuff.This works fine.Juz to preven the rainwater from going in.Anyway I don't really listan to radio.I listen more to my CDs.

I did an early scrap last year dec.Too many problems.Road tax at almost $1k/year.This is $600/year & has better fc.Quite sad to let it go.Was a twincam 16V DOHC.The accent is only a 12V SOHC.

Maybe u can check with hyundai stockist like minghee or songyi? i have not changed my exos so dun really know..

how u find driving the accent as compared to the 20yr old sunny (disregard the problems)?

recently found brake fluid leaking through my rear brake pump.. had to change them for ~$130..
