How long is the recovery period before it starts to look natural and you can go out without looking like a hair transplant weirdo?

Yes but it will take some time. Transplanted hairs will stay dormant for 1-3 months before growing, due to the trauma of the procedure.

I think depends on do where.
If fix receding hairline I think can don't need shave.
For mine I did the crown area, so I shaved

Not to attract people of the opposite gender

I requested for 2 weeks WFH lol.
After that just went back office as usual. I'm not scared to let people see I'm bald for now

My MPB (Male Pattern Baldness) started in my early 30s IIRC.
It runs in the family so I just keep my hair as short as possible (my SO don't mind so its OK)


From what I read (Wayne Rooney's case), he has to go back and do a hair transplant every few years.
