Taiwan is really a **** place. I went once on a round island tour. Ok la. Only good for rice and fruits and natural scenery.

Japan... I went tw countless times, then went Japan.. And told myself after the first trip to Japan, I'll never go back tw.. Since then.. Really never went back tw... Did another 3 trips to Japan..

hmm I see, i think if go outside of Tokyo/Taipei, it really depends on your budget and how adventurous you are lol

for me most of the time i am a tourist and not a traveler so for its cost + cooling weather during the Winter, Taiwan is good enough for me (IF i want repeated visits)

Oh.. Tw, we went to taichung, taidong, basically the other touristy places aside from tw (taroko gorge etc) then Japan we went to Osaka Kyoto Hokkaido, aside from Tokyo.. If want cost and cool weather, tw probably budget enough.. But I usually wanna learn about culture and all when going overseas.. So will prefer Japan.
