Congratulations to TS hitting 55 except it does not make sense to wait for cpf withdrawal to go for a $2K Jeju trip... Last time members here said Japan and Korea were atas. Nowadays with the super strong Singapore dollars, they considered Japan and Korea as cheap destination most do not even considered as part of their two times annual vacation list.

Just go any time any day. My Korean and local friends all told me to forget about visiting Korea... Nothing much interesting. Food is not fantastic also. Japan is nice though.
