I keep getting BSOD

Here are my exact specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: RTX 2060 SUPER
MB: Asrock B450 Pro 4
HDD: Toshiba 2TB
SSD: Lexar 256GB
PSU: Cooler Master 650V
RAM: Crucial Balistics 16gb 3600mhz

What did you upgrade from to? Was the RAM upgraded by any chance? From what I'm reading your motherboard does not officially support 3600 RAM so this could be a starting point to your troubleshooting.

IF you have the old RAM and its DDR4 then you could try switching back to that and see if the BSOD stops.

Ok. May you can try taking out 1 stick of RAM then test. After that swop the RAM stick and try again.

If BSOD goes away, then just try re-seating your RAM again, then try.

Most of the time is the RAM problem. Try tune down the RAM speed and see can solve the problem or not , of course do that after trying out each single strip of RAM first by individual memory slot.

Ryzen build bsod normally is ram timing or ram voltage error. Might need to fine tune it. 3200mhz runs best at 1.3v, I would assume 3600mhz would need a little more.
You'll need to take some time to meddle with bios

THE BSODs usually happen when my pc's idle at the login screen and its totally fine when I play games though... hmmm

After changing back did the BSOD stop? If it did then the issue is with the RAM. Try reseating it too may help but there is a strong possibility that the motherboard does not support the faster RAM. This is where the other chipsets come into play.

You will need to experiment until you find a sweet spot!

You can disable xmp, tune the timings yourself. Run at 3600mhz still doesn't really matter.
Then you need to find a suitable voltage also. Try with 1.3v first

Your B450 pro may not have proper traces to run memory stable at 3600. Try 3200, 1.35v

Maybe try 3200mhz, 1.35v is manufacturer tested, didn't work for Corsair lpx rams, needed to lower to 1.3v for stability

My PC went BSOD frequently a few months back. Tried many things. Eventually I reinstalled OS and no more BSODs.
