Why anyone would use a laundromat in SG for ur regular laundry puzzles me.

You don't know what sort of crap the previous person before you threw inside. I've even heard of people throwing their shoes in, I'm sure the tubs are not cleaned after every cycle.

Probably for those big linens ba. But then again also quite stupid too. I tried once expensive, and wait there damn hot and stuffy and long. Not worth the effort at all. Plus washing and drying are 2 separate machines and need wait even longer and pay more
While not for your regular Singaporeans family that has a washing machine, it’s more for those people renting only.
Landlords don’t allow them to use the washing, so they have to go to these laundromat.
With the high ratio of FTs in Singapore, you be surprised by the usage.

need to be aware of this too, i know ppl who use these public laundromats specifically for their cmi clothes, such as muddy army outfield ICT things, shoes etc.

Some ppl use dryer only to dry kids clothes or bedsheets , pretty nice

I guess the bane of it is the waiting only bah

I wash 2 x 4window full length curtains. Plus dry, only $26.... You bring to laundry service... Smelly smelly $60.

$0 is lie for clickbait title to earn your clicks. I didn't click the video but read the comments.

Gotta be a straight shooter with you here, but you leave out a lot of information and paint this as a rosy picture. As other commenters have accurately pointed out, you don't actually discuss or show your liabilities portion.

I'm current Wall Streeter among other things and you're doing a great disservice to folks by not showing your true colors here.

Laundromats, like any business, can be a good business to invest in. They can also be a money-sink. It entirely depends on the physical equipment (washers/dryers), location, and how much time you want to invest in the business itself.

Washers and dryers are notorious for breaking down due to the smallest things and they are not easy or cheap to fix. You also have to worry about crime. Folks are depositing coins and they become a prime target by folks looking for a cash grab.

Also, you lie to everyone - you put down $25k. Please get a real job, and not a face job.

i don't understand those who use these, bring your laundry downstairs, pay money. need to wait then collect and bring home

long term buy washing machine much better no?
Nowadays many pigeon holes too small to house a proper washing machine/dryer.
