Never buy Durians from supermarket. I personally saw a lots of occasions they're selling fake cultivar of durian in order to jack up the price. I only can differentiate certain types of Durians as I ate certain cultivar of Durians quite a lot. As normal people quite hard to tell if the Durian on display is real cultivar they label. On top of that the Durians in the box might be rejected by their customers. Just my thought.

Singaporeans believe whatever they are told. Every year also say durian oversupply, price is low. Yet every year also buyers long queue, price high, and durian sellers make a killing. When will Singaporeans realize that these are just low level marketing tricks that Malaysia durian sellers use to trick them? Probably never, bcoz sinkies are truly daft.
