i want to change to EV but I stay HDB how to charge?

EV chargers uptrend, going to be installed everywhere.

Petrol kiosk down trend, going to be halved in the coming years.

Esso/Shell all selling their kiosk trying to exit already
Next time maybe go Tuas to whack petrol.

Since ICE has been categorised to be harmful to the enviroment, create bad air, cause global warming, bla bla.
It should be penalised like Ciggies and Alchohol real soon.
What about 500% tax on petrol to teach them a lesson.

buy the ground floor unit and then buy power adapter extender to lay from your house.

Some hdb carparks got those 3 pin chargers under a lock and cover. Break the lock and use free electricity if get caught just say sorry /S

So many EV charger around the world never had such problem.

Just wonder how people use it. Ga-wa-bo-kuan-hey. Wa-da-ka-chia one. No need charge anything.

Anyway, think the intention is for people charge as and when its available. Little by little. Not wait for it near empty then look to charge full. Like in between running errand, etc. So, no need hog the charging station one.

People need a serious change of mindset, and habit, if want to use ev effectively. Its not like petrol car run till empty then pump.

EVs are not practical, you have to add at least 1 to 1.5 hours per every long distance trip like KL.

i want but the charging part really not convenient...

With $40k rebates you can get a $200k EV. Compared to $160K what ICE or even hybrid new cars can you get?
i only charge my EV every 4 days on average and do so whenever convenient. Ironically much prefer that to when I need to detour to petrol stations.
Finally do a test drive on EV that will change your mind. One test drive is all that need to convince me on EV
