There are a few EV with better spec and safety at about same price range as that EV.
that is not my point lol. specs is one issue but that is prolly the lower concern compared to other bigger issue.
for tiong market now, the best selling EVs should be tesla model 3 + model Y.
total tesla sales prolly = 2nd and 3rd bestsellers add up. or 4th to 10th place holders add up.
the mini is not competing with tesla, even thou it is the 2nd or 3rd best seller in tiongland.
this tells u that tiong EV makers so far no fight against tesla in the same mkt sector.
the mini became 2nd or 3rd becos it is in a sector where tesla ish not inside. ie, low perf super cheap EV.
that means, the tiongs are just killing each other in cheap sector. tiongs pwn tiongs, boh tesla eh daiji.
and the bigger problem ish, tesla ish now prolly the biggest seller in both usa and tiongland.
meaning, they are now like microsoft in the PC world. sooner or later tesla will be the one making the EV rules.
others LLST had to follow, just like everyone's using windows and office suite. is microsoft selling PC as their main biz?
while tesla ish busy becoming the 話事人 or rule maker, what ish tiongs EV makers doing?
flooding the mkt with low quality low perf low cost EVs, in order to con more subsidies from the govt.
no one ish interested in making the software or industrial standards. becos tiongs all want short term benefits nia.
now the war of the industrial standards already started in the charging post interface.
usa and europe all got diff charging interface, govt had to invest in multiple types of charging posts,
sure tulan want to have a unified standard, easy for everyone.
sooner or later the whole EV mgmt/control system will be involved as well. and tesla ish likely the winner.
tiongs can carry on building the consumer end. angmohs will happily sit back collect royalties for every EV produced.
just like MS getting a cut for every PC or laptop sold by big brand mfg coys.
