Hi, my mobo capacitor just blown. Any recommendation for mobo replacement? Does asrock h81m dgs r2 or msi h35m e35 still work with this chip? Thks for the help

What motherboard model you using that blown?

no doesn't work... different CPU socket. Find LGA 1155 mobos

Asrock b75m dgs. The capacitor look sightly bloated... previously i need to discharge the pc for a few hours before able to get it power on.. but today it was totally dead...

RMA motherboard if still under warranty?

You can only use 7 series motherboard...

Abt 3 years guess no more warrenty. Does sim lim still sells any cheap 7 series mobo?

Thks all.after serious consideration, 2 dead asrock mobo in 3 yrs , i want to move on.

Will MSI H81M-E35 V2 + i3 4130 be sufficient for dota 2 and photoshop ?

So you had previously RMA the same board? I'm also using it but so far no issue...
