i5 4430 Question

Just wondering, besides power consumption wise, and i5 2500k (stock frequency) is still faster than the i5 4430 right? How much faster (as in is it significant to the user)?

no point changing... just OC ur 2500k if u need the horse power.

Oh, I'm not changing yet. I'm probably waiting for broadwell or skylake. It's my mom's pc that I'm thinking of changing. It's an E8400. Just want a gauge how fast it would be as compared to my current rig.

hmm about 5% increase? its just an estimate. does ur mum play games? else i dun think she need a haswell. ivy would be more than enough ba.

She play crap games though. Thought the improved iGPU will be good for simple games and videos. Or maybe an AMD APU. FX too expensive in singapore.

If your mum is just using it for work and slight gaming can just get the 6800k richland. Dont need to go till kaveri.
