I see that most sls pricelist only carry the i7-8700,
is the i7-9700 available locally ?

Availability of high-end Intel chips is just bad, and was the reason I went for AMD's Threadripper 2990wx.

Shops may list it but it doesn't mean they have ready units for sale immediately.

Was prepared to drop the hard cash for an i9-9960X or i9-9980XE but both were out of stock and four SLS shops could not give an estimate on when it will be restocked.
