Gotten my x1, it comes in brown lenovo box n inside is the black and red retail box

First time in my life I gotten a thinkpad.
Mainly for typing documents, view videos and stuff on the go.
So my specs are baseline except for backlit keyboard and a touchscreen.

Typing on it is nice. Best of all it's light enough even with all the boxes when I self collected it from bluport and bringing it home.

looks like our specs are identical, apart from mine being non touch. yours 256gb as well?

Arrived at my shipper. Preparing for shipping to SG.

Expedited Shipping, ETA @ singapore on 4th June.

Hopefully, it won't be DOA.

Laptop : 1.5K USD
Shipping : 170 USD

Total dmg : 1670 USD ≈ 2,240.30 SGD

Specs are non vpro i5, 8gb, FHD touch, 256gb ssd, win pro

GST included in 170USD? Myestimate for shipping is only 50-60USD. I also ordered through forwarder. Still waiting

No one ask me to pay anything for gst. Not sure is it included , but I guess it was part of shipping.

I see. Any feedback on your X1C6? Fan noise, surface temperature, etc?

Keyboard is nice. Fan noise not noticeable to me, guess ambient noise covered whatever noise it isn’t making? Surface temp is ok to me. No issues on that. Like all review, the x1 speaker is disappointing, guess u need a set of headphones or earphones.

If you got ocd, u will need to keep wiping the laptop, finger oil smudge is daily occurrence but I aren't bothered by it.

Other reviewers complain about heat and fan noise. Nice to hear that you don't experience that. So excited to receive my laptop. I'm planning to install a skin sticker to eliminate oil smudge.

Guess they reviewed in a quiet place with all the expensive audio equipment but yeah, in sg, u gt either a fan or aircon adding to ambient noise Coz of weather here.

I ain't got golden ears and didn't hear any unwarranted sounds coming from it so I'm fine with it.

Tempting to stick but ultimately, I prefer stock.

Can added international warranty.
But can imaging any parts has minor issue.
All parts have to order from china or any else.
This is almost delay your warranty period.

The worse case, Lenovo prefer you send back to US.
Due to Singapore still not available yet.
Unless you are usage in Australia or somewhere else.
