Use sg student email to create an edu account with lenovo sg. Once it's verified, log into the account to purchase /customise your pc/laptop. Student discounted price would be shown before u finalise the purchase.

You may also use alumni email accounts since this have a "EDU" in the domain name and meet Lenovo criteria.

What if I have a *.edu.au alumni email? Will that work for Lenovo Singapore education store?

Also, am I limited to a certain series of laptops (e.g. T series, X series) if I buy from the Education store?

Available in Singapore online store now. Ships in 3 weeks - usually faster.

Gen 6 are on sales for quite awhile.

Sir, normally how soon does it become available in SG?

And would the stores be clearing their gen 6?

Thank you

T480 for great battery life (&removable battery), extra ssd and ram slots.
T480s not really great as it's thin and light but not as light as x1 carbon. You lose the upgradeability
T490 for great screen but you lose a lot of the upgradeability and light weight

At this point the t480 is great if you're ok with a mediocre screen. If you're a fan of Ts series then just get t490s. There's not much difference in 8th and 8 refresh.

Anyone bought from Lenovo Malaysia store before? Thinking of getting a custom X1 Extreme from there and shipped to my residence in Malaysia there but how's the delivery service?

Uni student here going for IT course. Am considering between Thinkpad x1 carbon (7th gen) i5 for $1785 and Thinkpad L390 for $1.3k. Is the x1 worth the extra $500?

Just pulled the trigger on a E490 for 1379 with edu discount. First ever ThinkPad and am excited, going to upgrade the RAM and SSD myself that’s why got the basics only. Hopefully can last for my Uni and work life.

For Amazon sets, able to bring down to Lenovo service center or better to find 3rd party?
