I tihnk this idea is pretty smart. Just that the keyboard IMO price is too expensive.
I would get it but not at this price

I used to buy from the USA, but it's only worth it when we get it from the Lenovo website with huge discount.

Else just settle it from the local Lenovo SG stores.

T61 double stacked image

Anyone experienced this before? :

My T61 (TYPE: 7664-A24) 's display shows two stacked images:

(1) what are the internal issue(s)?

within $260 you can get..although prices may have risen.
did quite a few T440P mods/upgrades.

T440 series has a mouse pad that is very hard to get use to. Suggest you go for T450. I gotten a T450 few months back from one second shop in Funan. So far is good. Paid around $460.

t450 is expensive for the price u paid...can get a t460 much cheaper than that and self upgrade.
fyi, t450 trackpad can be swapped over to be used in t440 and t440p

normally i just buy the cheapest one and order new t440p chassis frame and top lid from taobao
just DIY change out.
most important is the mobo is working with clean IO ports.the rest not important as the cpu is upgradeabe.

Depend on configuration. Mine is full HD, 16G and 512G SSD. With 128G M.2 as boot drive.
