Got any lobang for OEM version? ahaha!
I presume you are looking for a legit copy. :D

OEM one you can try go SLS find. I think some shops carry the OEM software but if i recall correctly, they are not supposed to sell it stand alone. You got to check with them to confirm.

Went to ibm just now, to downgrade to WinXP.

their 3rd CD had cyclical redundancy error.

After 1.5 hours, the installation failed!

Jialat... now must come down again...

Their CD set itself were copies, not original.

wa wasted!! how come like this!

To top it off, i was later told dat they have 2 sets of CDset and didnt know
which one to let me use.

so i suppose if i come again next week, they let me try the other set.

And if got problem still, i come again another day? Wth!
am i there for them to test whether their copy of the CDs work or not???
see the condition of the CDs, with all those scratches, and lines and
how old they are or have been used multiple of times, they ought to know
the conditions already. why let the customers be experimented on, who spent
2-3 hours there, only to find out at the end that the upgrading got aborted
bcos some files are not copied???

I have a slipstreamed copy of WinXP SP3 that includes the SATA drivers for T61p. You want? I can pass it to you if you think it will be useful. Have to get your own serial though.

Don't think they have the recovery discs though.

I thought those in the service centre should be original.

i worked as a temp with a local hp affliate and all they do is log into the msdn website and dl whatever iso they require. then install from that and then run the inhouse program to put in the branding stuff before shipping out to customers. subsequent sets are made using cloning software.

they dont even receive pressed cds from microsoft.
