i went to SLS and ask for T400 at the shops and all of them said that T400 comes preload with vista business and they will give a upgrade CD for win 7 pro.
is there any T400 that only comes with preload with win 7 pro directly?

W500 User here. Really dependable machine, rock solid keyboard and a pretty capable gaming machine;). Only gripe is that the Bezel when close scratches and forms a line on my palm rest. Is this normal?

Yes, normal.

Any Possible to remove it? Cause i didnt know it would scratch so easily and in the beginning i used to wear a wrist watch which had a metal buckle and i didnt realise that while typing the metal actual scratches up the palmrest. So was wondering if there were any fix other than getting a new palmrest.

go to those signmakers, and ask for a clear laminating film off cut. Clean your laptop, and paste over tha palm rest (cut to size)

It would be quite ugly after sticking that right?

im not sure, i havent try myself with clear laminate, but if you get the glossy type, think of it as bodyguardz, if you get a matte type, think of it as invisibleshield. I think if you cut nicely and apply neatly, it should look ok. any form of protection is a sacrifice between looks and functionality.

personally, on my 17" mbp, i have speck case, invisibleshield top cover, palm rest, trackpad, battery and ram door. Overkill? Yes most likely, but it keeps my alu case from scratching when i type and have a watch on.
