Selling current X230 and upgrading either to T430 or X1 Carbon.

T430 upgradable to 16gb of ram
X1 Carbon cannot be upgrade, if it comes with 4gb means 4gb

Is 4gb of ram enough for most daily use like youtube, internet, word processing, video encoding??

4GB is sufficient for those needs for now (with Windows 7/8).

Amazon checkout is only available for Lenovo US

Better confirm with the vendor if there is international warranty. Also check the comments. If not many reviews, then better not take the chance.

Dun worry. Lenovo will refund the amount. May take a month to see the reversal in your statement.

Grey international warranty
Poor resale value
Heavily marked up in SG
Not for export in USA

Don't see any reason to purchase Lenovo at all
