i don't think its very good or very bad, but depends on whether how much you have and how long you want to put it. i like the cimb currently 3 months promotion for 1.7%, but then you have to have a minimum of 10K

For FD, i been banking in these 2 china banks (BOC & ICBC) as there rate are quite good comparing to local banks.

And the waiting number of customers are usually lesser.

hi does anyone have icbc multi currency savings account?

if I want to deposit china rmb into my rmb account, can I bring RMB cash? or they only accept SGD n will convert into yuan in my account? to the bank teller counter.

both are possible but bank in sgd conversion rate might not to attractive if it large amount.
U might want to consider money changer then bank in RMB.

Compared to BOC, ICBC bank conversion rate SGD to CNY is better. Open a dual currency account and deposit some Sg. Their rates are even comparable to money changer.

yes I think can, I saw b4 people bring stacks of RMB to the counter to deposit.
