a friend has been saying how good this app is giving the exchange rate, but have not been giving any consideration.

when i went jb yday, and shared my youtrip rm exchange rate of 3.518 with him, he showed me ichange rate to be 3.54.

was thinking that it was quite a small amount initially, but having spend around 400 to 500 sgd each time i go jb, it will come up to around 10rm of exchange rate difference.

was still hesistant about it, as has been using youtrip for a while. after checking out that ichange also support gpay, i thought maybe can give ichange a try.

does anyone has any feedback on it?

do they give the best exchange rate just for rm? or across all currency? do they allow withdrawal overseas?

why not use trust card

how is trust card rm rate? ichange is like money exchange as it is a colloboration of 5 local money exchanger. anyway to find out their exchange rate.

The app emerged as a result of a collaborative effort involving five money changers: Anua Group Money Exchangers, Ariza Money Exchange, Iakaba Money Exchange, Shenton Money Exchanger, and Shining Money Exchange.

the apps allows us to see all the exchange rate and choose the best out of their own money exchanger.

Aiyah….now good doesn’t always good lah.

true true. but if their rate is not good, there will be a decline in their business.

im now trying to find out whether they have overseas withdrawal.

This entire ichange feels wierd, cant put my finger on it. At least card services are provided by NIUM which own AMAZE

If you only using this for ringgit, probably. Trust / youtrip / revolut tend to just be near each other for the FX.
or across all currency?
Since you have youtrip, why not check with your friend as well?
do they allow withdrawal overseas?
Looking through the FAQ, they do.
Withdrawal is charged 5 SGD and that's excluding the ATM own network fees if applicable.

you are right. i found 1 thread in edmw did some background check on the company. the company is using a virtual address, looks dodgy

i had compared my youtrip and friend's ichange rate, the difference is like 1% difference. so if i change 500sgd, it would be a 10rm exchange rate difference. not a lot though.

thanks for looking through the FAQ.
