Anyone use this to backup photos?

just a few questions:

1) if i got all the photos on icloud, when i get a new iphone, all the photos will be synced back in?
2) for Mac, can I choose certain folders to be back up on the icloud instead of ALL?

1. Yes, all will be synced back.

2. No you cannot choose. All photos in your library get uploaded.
