Need some advise here.

I quit my job this month with 1 month notice until 31st oct. But currently having a ICT next week.

Now, the problem is, the company do not requires me to serve my notice, waiving my one month notice. Now what? will i still be getting my MUP from my this ICT?

As long as your ICT falls on your working day with your company, you are eligible for MUP. But you might have problems getting your company to endorse on your MUP.

Did your company pay you in full until 31st Oct?

Don't worry, if your company don't claim for you (not very smart of them), you can just manually submit your claims yourself using your last pay slip.

Now, the question will be what is the date of termination your coy write for you on the pay slip.

i just realised something. Your company already paid you. If they dun claim is their lost.
You don't have to do anything.

Actually they don't claim. You will receive rank pay. Means you get extra actually.

So don't submit for claim better. As when you claim, the money goes to your company first.

unless you are saying they deduct your pay becos of ICT, then you have to call ns hotline.

:s11: not according to my experience.

An example, you get paid $50/day by your job. If you are called for ICT for 5 days (5 days x $50 = $250).

In your company payslip there will be a deduction of $250. And this is the amount you can claim from your Make-Up Pay. This is what MUP is for which is to cover the differences in your civilian pay.

The company does not gain anything from claiming MUP on your behalf or not. And the MUP amount does not go to your company but directly to your own personal account (according to you NS portal bank account details).

And yes, you will get more income through your service pay.

However, this scenerio may defer between companies. But nevertheless, check with your HR dept and file a MUP by your own over the portal. The MINDEF NS will verify your claim with your company.

Also, there will not be any double payment to your account in case anyone here are thinking.

Thus, you will get your usual pay and service pay.

But bro, if i dont submit the claim, my basic will just be 2k, which company will pay me.
however, i in a commission based job, i guess my previous 6 months pay average could be in range of 4.5k. so its better to submit right?

this means your coy did not register for DIRECT payment. you have to claim yourself.
for TS case his coy already pay him in full, so claim what?

in the past, your company claim MUP for you right? you get your normal pay from your company right?

so in this case, even you claim, the money goes to your company only. Unless they willing to disperse to you. they dun even want to submit claim for you liao. what you think?

your second choice is to submit the form manually. call NS hotline for the form and explain to them your situation and hope they willing to process for you.
