IELTS or TOEFL

Anyone who failed O lvl previously and is now required to attain a pass in the english language in order to qualify for degree?

By now the O lvl registration has closed, so there's only IELTS or TOEFL. IELTS cost $310 and TOEFL is 220USD (278.54SGD).

Anyone who took any of the above before can kindly share your experiences? Do we just go there on the day, sit down, write write write write write, hand in paper when the time is up, then go home wait for results. thats all?

For the TOEFL iBT (internet based test), do we have go to the their place and use their computer or can do it at home? I think it's better to do the exam by keyboard then by using pen to write, right? More advantageous in terms of speed.

i took IELTS b4, for most dl UK degree they required overall avg score of 6.5 and at least a score of 6 for the 4 components.

for this i went down twice 1st to write 2nd trip for oral conversation with Ang Moh

I took the TOEFL test few months back.
If you're good in English, just practise on the guidebooks sold.
I won't say it's that hard because TOEFL have tricks you can overcome.
And one thing I learnt, time management is extremely important during the test.
You have to go to the test center one.
