If Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone & Pirelli are tier 1 performance tyre brands, what are considered tier 2 n 3?

These tyres are a freaking joke... I wonder why ppl still dare to stick the stickers on their rear windshield like some badge of honour dumba$$ award.
A decent tier 1 or 2 brand 205/55R16 can be had around 120/pc. I wonder how cheap can tourador same size tyre is

Imo, Yokohama belongs in Tier 1. I've used them once before and I would rate them higher than any Hankook or Toyo in the wet and stopping distance.
:(

Hankook ventus s1 evo 3 has the best wet braking distance

I heard pasting the sticker got discount for the tyres..

But why the negativity surrounding this brand?

So far I've only used Bridgestone, Kumho and Nexen but wouldn't mind trying this brand if it's not too bad..

I've used Michelin, Bridgestone and Yokohama.

My opinion is that some brands better in some things, some brands better in others. But unless you change tyres very often, I think most people will be hard-pressed to really tell the difference. Most people will adapt to whatever the performance the tyres give. Or the difference is really obvious.

I'm using Yokohama BluEarth GT AE51 now since I switched to a hybrid car. What's really difference is that the rolling resistance is really low. Can really roll for quite a distance before the car loses speed.
