Liddat all office computers will spoil easily instead of lasting 5-10 years.

For safety reason it's better to turn off main switch if you're not around.

Guess overall the cost is still lower to change PSU every a few years.

No difference other than a slight savings to your power bill, in the single digit cents per year range.

But leaving the main switch on prolongs your CMOS battery life, which can cost a dollar or two to replace every 3-4 years. So best to leave the switch on.
