Here's my really frank thoughts on this.

It is not IF but HOW someone became rich.

There is a saying. If you want to earn extraordinary income you need to do extraordinary things and be an extraordinary person.

People who actually work hard, started a business, embarked on a new career with drive industry and determination, they may already be who they are to begin with. There may be some who had to turn over a new leaf. Change who they are in order to become the person they needed to be to make the riches. So they changed before or along the way.

Those who had riches fall on their laps eg win lottery, inheritance that one is really what this question is about. Am I right? Sudden unexpected windfall.
