You've heard of how 3SG get a local promotion to L-2SG and do platoon sergeant work for 3SG pay. ) And my unit promote 10 3SG to 2SG for every batch after we are operational ready (About 10 months in to NS) as they are to fufilled their duty as a detachment sergeant after that!
