I wonder if LPA will allow the Individual to make changes to the will?LPA doesn't execute will... Will is different thing. LPA is before you die, Will is after you die.
What if divorced or widowed, and no children or on bad terms with children?
LPA is for affairs when you are alive so you can make decisions pertaining to health, wealth, but nothing like CPF or Will.I wonder if LPA will allow the Individual to make changes to the will?
Key differences between an LPA and other documents:
- Covers Property and Financial Affairs:
The Donee(s) can manage the Donor's finances, including bank accounts, investments, selling or buying property, and paying bills.
- LPA vs. a Will: A will only takes effect after the person's death, while an LPA is for decisions made during a person's lifetime when they lose mental capacity.
