The convertor... Comes into scrutiny of the quality etc...

those using idevices with lightning connection just need to add the lightning to 30pin adapter then to the lod then to the amp

The Wolfson WM8533 chip inside isn't so shabby.

Precisely, initially I arranged the ifi to face the same directly. But the cable look damn ugly.

ifi should consider a stack like the Chord's chordette series.

Precisely, initially I arranged the ifi to face the same directly. But the cable look damn ugly.

The messy cabling is caused by the iDAC. iFi needed to separate the USB input and RCA output to minimize EMI or sorts. Only effect them because the interface is too small to put them side by side without effecting the sound quality.

So naturally, the best way to split them up and one front and one back.
