So I was previously using an amd card running 2x mDP and hdmi from onboard graphics on 3570k and 7870 myst, all was fine.

Moved to 4690k and gtx 970 now, same configuration plugged in results in the 2x mDP from GPU displaying but hdmi via iGPU gets disabled. If I remove one mDP from GPU, iGPU outputs again via hdmi for a total of 2 screens in any scenario.

All three screens were previously working with the exact same configuration until one day the on board suddenly refused to output. Onboard is definitely working, just can't get it to output at the same time with 2x mDP on gpu. Any ideas?

Was it due to new drivers installed recently?

Nope, have been on the same set of drivers for a while now. Will try reinstalling older than current drivers when I get back.

Windows 10 and 970 feels like a downgrade from win7 and 7870 :vijayadmin:

Haha, most likely is new windows that made you feel that way.

But either way, might wanna try other mode of connections to your monitors input, such as DVI or HDMI etc if it is available.

See whether is it the cables that are faulty etc.
