iMac mid-2011 (A1312) highest HDD capacity

Thinking of replacing the 1TB with 3TB internal HDD. Is it supported?

I changed to ssd instead. The booting and reading time are much faster compared to hdd.

Then get a hdd probox and slot in all the hard disk drives. My time machine, photos, videos, iTunes, imovie all inside the external hard disk stay.

I went to sim lim square sixth floor lo. The Apple shop.. Can't remember the name.

About $100? Excluding the cost of ssd.

To install a second drive, you will have to remove the optical drive.
