IMDA Subsidised Laptop

My parent are applting for IMDA;s digital access @ home > https://www.imda.gov.sg/how-we-can-help/digital-access-at-home
There are 2 labtops in this subsidised scheme, asus (intel i5) or lenovo (ryzen 5). I pick asus. Did i make the wrong choice ?
Can anyone with such experience advise me which subsidised labtop a better choice ?

Update - my parent choose acer, model number Aspire A15-51P for just $240 after subsidised.
Any user wish to give advice on this notebook to first timer user ?
