Has anyone done it and please share.
My cats are from Brisbane, imported from my Australia breeder. Maybe I can help
I used Dogtainers as they were recommended by my breeder. Paid $1.2k to ship my german shepherd over to Singapore. They will do everything, just get them to fill up the AVA application form for export thats all.
Try reading up on the AVA website first.
I've done it all by myself but it was a while back and can't remember all the steps but did it by following the guidelines. Collection is at the changi airfreight centre.
You need to liaise with the overseas (recognised) breeder - it would be a plus if the breeder have had experience exporting internationally.
There are countries which require quarantine here which is a big hassle and expensive.

Yes you will need a referral to assist you in getting a outlook from Australia from the good breeders.Hi, negativzero, how's your GSD? I want to import a German Shepherd puppy from Australia, but most of the breeders won't ship their puppies overseas unless I have contactable references in Australia. Did you encounter it as well? May I know your breeder name if possible?
Thanks!

Hi, base on your info on using dogtainers, I plan to use it to ship 2 puppies from Perth. Is your GS a puppy or an adult dog?
