Hi all i recently purchased 2x4gb HyperX fury 1866mhz
from amazon to put into my new rig.
http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Hype...F8&qid=1431963716&sr=8-1&keywords=ram+1866mhz

however, the new rig is still building, so i decided to make use of the rams in my acer computer now.
i5-650
AX3950 Oem Mobo
2x 2gb Oem ram?(not sure, no brands indicated. 1.5v 1333ddr3 ram)
8

1tb toshiba hdd
Oem Psu
Nvidia Gt320

Changed my rams to the new ones, computer stuck in this screen, pressing buttons doesn't work.

Decided to pull out one stick of ram, computer posts and heads to windows loading screen before blue screening and restarts. can't read the error as its too fast, and doesn't show up on bluescreen view.
Repeat in the same ram lane with the other stick, computer doesn't post.

Ram lanes all working as when i put in the old ram, computer runs fine.

Are my rams DOA? if they are, can i send it back to amazon for rma? or can kingston singapore help?

i would not worry about it if i were you, due to the fact that its OEM

your new rams are fine. its just your acer mbo don't like the new RAM.

Heck OEM mbo are picky at times.

Okay! That's good to hear, just wanted to know if anything was wrong. Cause i read that ddr3 rams are mostly compatible with ddr3 capable motherboard, so was abit worried that the new rams were doa
