telling James not to reveal his company to prevent lawsuit is not siding with anyone? So what is your opinion about the whole matter? So what is the whole problem about? why it happened? what was done? what can be avoided?

My opinion? This investment stinks. It has a stench of scam and fraud. It has caused many people losing lots of money, including a few of my friends. One of whom has invested S$150,000 in several tranches. Infinity Treasures should shoulder part of the blame since they did not do enough checks. They did not do their due diligence which they claimed they did. The newspaper report said that they went to Detroit recently and did some random properties visits. That's not good enough considering there are hundreds of properties involved. They should stand on the side of the investors instead of the developers. I do hope they will turn around and give specific directions how they intend to get back the money to the investors with specific time line that will be tightly followed and watched.

I've already said it earlier. If the return is so good, is there proof that the Infinity Treasures people invested their own money?

By the way, whose money did they use to fly to Detroit to look at houses, and did they fly business class or first class, and what sort of hotel accommodation? Did they declare to investors how much they spent on travel expenses for their Detroit excursion and do they have any documentary evidence to show?

For example, did they obtain audited accounts, go to government departments and examine permits, planning permissions etc.

Fine is like the word "Ok" in the context and just a word to denote acceptance or approval...So it is neither a good idea or bad idea but an acceptable idea...

I am not involved or so intimately know The Escape Stratergy like how you know it so well...So I just spell out a word wrongly and you tried to ignore the whole question because you have no answer for it and tried to avoid the question....

Seriously what the heck is "real perfectly well and an aware"...Please brush up on your reply before commenting on others...

Aren't you trying to avoid answering the questions just because of the mixed up of the word The Escape Stratergy with The Escape Plan...I can see perfectly that you are pathetically trying to discredit me just because I said wrongly "Stratergy" with "Plan"...

Nope - wrong on all counts I'm afraid,
Lets be clear so you have some idea of what you are talking about - its becoming clear to me you are struggling.
Infinity treasures marketed an investment opportunity called The Exit Strategy. The Exit Strategy made profits from the purchasing of distressed real estate, bought direct from the major US banks. They could purchase the properties very cheaply and renovate them as Right Buy Properties (the developer) had an in house construction team. They could then sell the properties on at market value for a healthy profit. The reason the investment failed is because the properties were bought in the wrong areas and secondly because of changes in legislation in relation to borrowing.

Now lets move on to Infinity Treasures,

They did not to my knowledge ever market an investment called the Escape Plan
They did not to my knowledge ever market an investment called the Escape Strategy

You constantly wanting to use this word "ESCAPE" baffles me. If I were your teacher I would request you write out 100 times,

Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, Exit Strategy, ........and so on

For the record, I have no interest in discrediting you, I can see you are perfectly capable of doing this yourself.

It would be unusual and very unethical for Infinity treasures to use investors money to fly to Detroit. As the investors were buying shares in a company, I doubt Infinity ever touched the money, it was all handled through a trustee. What is more likely is Infinity treasures would have used their commissions from sales to fly to the USA.

i simple adore fancy gentlemen like you, playing with english words and going around in circles, distracting everyone from the real point.
beautiful circles of distractions*

after reading so many posts by you, i have this conclusion.

If 1 person thinks you are an idiot, maybe that person is malicious
if 2 person... maybe that 2 persons are mistaken...
if 3 person.... maybe a big misunderstanding?
if 4...... hmmmm.....

I am liking this post just for the picture alone. Thank-you, it has brightened up my day.

So your point being? Keep on harping on the error of calling it "The Escape Plan" or "The Escape Stratergy" just because the proper scheme was called "The Exit Strategy"...

Still does not change the fact that the scheme is late in paying $64.8 million to Singapore's investors or that Infinity Treasures is in MAS Investor Alert List...

Up till now, there was no reply on what if the Crude Oil might face the same problem like "The Exit Strategy"...Oh yah, I remember, you "have never looked at the Crude Oil contract"...

Oh Infinity Treasures expert, how did you know so well? You paid commission by them to come in here?

That's right.

He has been attacking others on non-important stuffs, avoiding the real questions and conveniently forgot his contradicting comments.

More twaddle from the Senior Twaddler,
Me attack others, you got me confused with someone else,
Perhaps it was the guy banging on about the "Escape to Victory Plan?"..:)
It certainly wasn't me though.

Who is the guy who said "Escape to Victory Plan"...? I don't really see anyone say that word by word, probably it would have helped if you learn to read...

As a teacher may I introduce you to a new word today, it is "SARCASM"
Now run off to Wicki or the OED and look it up, apply it to my "Escape to Victory Plan" comment and .....BINGO, everything will appear much clearer.

It certainly is you, no one else called it "Escape to Victory Plan" like you do...I only see you the only one using that term...You got confused with yourself or are you seeing things or is it because you like to put words inside people's mouth?

Did your friend or anyone invested do their due dilligence before investing in such schemes or they expected Infinity Treasures to do it for them? So what is the problem here? What actions the investors should do? How to prevent such scheme from taking place in the future?
