Drop in inflation is not an instantaneous fix to the rot. You need sustained recovery "rest" of reduced inflation to celebrate

today cfm rally. but we shall see if tech companies continue to retrench and consumer spending spiral lower.

Inflation only gone down slightly, but appetite has been wrecked. absolutely bollocks to celebrate so early imo

Inflation data also lagged one. It's looking at past months. If commodities prices surge this month, due to the declining dollar, you will get the corresponding data the next month.

FYI, copper prices already went up by more than 10% in the past few weeks. Inflation can surge in waves.
