Info to get into IT Security?

Hi,

I am a SQL Database administrator with 4 years of experience now, with moderate knowledge in Windows Servers and Networking. I have a Computer Science bachelor's degree.

I am looking to get into IT security field. Confused on what course/certification to start with.

Is it ideal for moving from SQL DBA to IT Security field after 4 years of exp. and how would job oppurtunities for my scenario be?
