I call this person a snake, and rightly so, because, according to the MOM, he made "false statements could have incited migrant workers at Westlite Tukang and elsewhere, inflamed their emotions and possibly caused incidents of public disorder".

Not taking sides but actually I don't think "snake" is a racist label. I also don't recall this term being used in EDMW for racist or discriminatory purposes.

Moreover, the use of "snake" was in the context of an activist whose work was deemed "misleading, false or deliberately provocative". Perhaps the chosen hyperbole was not the most apt or suitable, but I don't see any racism here.
