Mod, may i know why i get Infraction Awards ?

What i post is a short-cut direct link to a page collect manaball in qoo10. Dont think is a Affiliate link as it is nt a solo product link and also dont contain any unqiue ID of the member.

fyi, qoo10 now had a shortcut link for mobile user.
Not all short URL WITH NUMBER is refer to Affiliate link

For yr info, Affiliate link in qoo10 will come with a unqiue ID.
for example URL?[name]=[idnum] or start with Q+number

Something like the one which is highlight in the pic ?[name]=[idnum]

*worst is i dont even join their Affiliate program, how will the hack i get Affiliate link?

Clear cut referral link posted in that post, I've removed the post and 3 points given for posting referral link in a strictly not referral link thread.

We are not in a position to determine whether or not you are affiliated to the shop, posting referral link is strictly not allowed.

Using url shortening to hide referral link is pretty common in HWC, I've dealing with this for a long time, you are not the first and definitely won't be the last.

Just dont use the "share" link in qoo10. It will generate "/su/xxxx" link. Member will not know the posted link is affliate or not.

If u want to post link, use desktop to browse the item, then use the "Copy URL" button at top right corner.

The jaehuid= is an unique number assigned to the seller/shop, any link contains this unique number are originated from this shop/seller and by posting url with these ID, you are generating profit/benefits for both the seller and you.

Post of this nature are clear cut of posting referral link.

As mentioned above, you are not the first and definitely not the last. Ever wonder why the thread title end with "Strictly no referral link"? I've been dealing with referral link in various threads in HWC for a long time. There are members using clone account to altered non referral link to add referral in their quote, nothing new, I've seen more than enough.

As explained in the article, it is affliate referral link. Therefore, the infraction given in this case was valid.

It does looks like you wasn't aware of the unique ID hidden in the link. I will request the administrator to change the infraction to warning for this case, but please do not post referral link in future.

Before you, there was a post by another member using the same url shortening and promptly infracted as well, since benefit of doubt given to you, the other member such be a warning as well.

Sorry for hijack. But whats the difference between infraction pts and warning? Saw this a few times but didnt want to create just a thread for it.


Will the infraction pts be erased after a period of time? Noticed got quite a number of users KPKB when tio infraction pts as compared to warning.

Warnings are worth 0 points
Infractions are worth 2 to 3 points depending on offence.

Accumulation of points will result in a ban. Number of points determine the ban length.
