[At this time 1200am still got si ginna chatting and laughing loudly, mid floor also can hear clearly.

How come their relatives die they still happy? :X]

Sorry, why am I being infracted for worrying about my wife who needs to sleep and wake up at 5am, while people are laughing loudly at the void deck at 12am?

I think the one who is insensitive here, are the ones who are being inconsiderate by making a lot of noise at 12am, and laughing has NOTHING to do with the funeral.

I don't mean to be rude but I hope people realize the crux of the problem here - that is the loud laughter by youngsters in the void deck has NOTHING to do with the funeral. They should be the ones who need to be considerate.

I mean chatting ok lah, but loud laughter and cackling which was audible up to the mid floors leh.

Do you think this infraction should be reversed?

Unless the ones who reported the thread, are the same youngsters who were laughing yesterday, and they think I am being insensitive by starting an online thread.

If you had explained it that way, it wouldn't have seemed offensive, would it? Yet you made no mention of the disturbance to your wife or yourself. Instead, you remarked how people can be laughing at a funeral.

From your statement, members could have perceived your 2nd sentence as offensive and reported your post. The moderator might have seen it as valid enough to infract you. Your post history could also have played a part in the consideration of the infraction.

Sorry but later in the thread, I did mention the reason why I was perturbed - that my wife needs to sleep.

Funeral or no funeral - I don't think chatting and laughing loudly at midnight in the void deck should be condoned, right? :X

I also noticed that you labeled the mourners as "ginnas"? So if your concern was for your wife, then the other comments were unnecessary. The point is that the member or members who reported your post felt that it was offensive. The moderator took action on the post (as indicated in the Important Forum Advisory Note).

I will try to get your infraction downgraded because while your point was valid, your post still warrants a warning. Meanwhile, I suggest that you phrase your posts with more care in the future. Wrapping the words in "[]" tags only make your intentions more suspicious.

It may take a while but you will receive a PM about the downgrade of the infraction, if the admins agree with me. It's up to their discretion.
